In her performance Sigh Song For Sisters (2025), Swiss artist Talaya Schmid addresses the power of emotion. In the work adapted for the project, the artist enters after a short introduction into a sighing dialogue with selected works in the exhibition, together with the visitors of the Düsseldorf Museum Night. Long, short, desperate, but also lustful and sensual sighs can be heard in dialogue with the works. In addition to the performance, the two curators u>Lara Bader and Marlene Kurz offer a guided tour through the exhibition.
