What is white? . . . A colour? Light? A wave? A particle? How do things appear to us, and how do we relate to them? Starting from these and further-reaching questions, the collective RHO has devised an experimental spatial installation set within an unconventional environment. For three evenings, visitors are invited to embark on an exploration of waves.

RHO is a decentralized artist collective founded in 2017. It eschews the use of individual names, conceiving of itself as a community dedicated to realizing creative concepts at the intersection of various disciplines – such as visual arts, theater, and experimental music.

At the core of RHO's practice lie immersive spatial installations that engage all the senses; playfully, they interrogate the structures of physical, psychological, and social spaces, shifting them into states of artistic equilibrium. A central aspect of this work is the specific, physical experience of the viewer. RHO's works feature both massive structures and incorporeal elements – such as light, shadow, sound, scent, or performative interventions. Furthermore, RHO actively collaborates with a diverse array of artists from various disciplines and backgrounds. In recent times, RHO has increasingly engaged with concepts of Land Art, exploring their dynamic interplay with the public realm.

RHO is currently a fellow of Residence NRW⁺ 2025/2026.
