PEER is the exhibition of the scholarship holders Residence NRW⁺ 2023/2024. At Museum Goch, the artists Nicl Barbro, Aleksandra Belić, Ja Jess and Edgar Unger are showing works that they created during their time as fellows. PEER is curated by Roger Rohrbach and Simon Würsten Marin, who, as curatorial fellows, lived and worked with the four artists at the residency in Münster from April to September.

PEER refers to the ephemeral and unique community that has emerged over the past twelve months through living together and the in-depth exchange between diverse practices, knowledge and interests. In the exhibition, each artwork enters into dialogue with the others, reflecting this communal experience from each artist's individual perspective. Using sculpture, painting, installation, video and performance as media, they address the dynamics of narratives, personal and foreign experiences, the search for identity as well as social contexts and role models; they immerse themselves in dreams and examine the power of images as well as the power of internet and pop culture. PEER is an invitation to discover the artistic practice of the four artists in Residence NRW⁺ and to trace possible resonances between their works as expressions of this unique community.
