Marginal stories, former borders, blurred images. How can borders be conceived? What can they evoke? On the occasion of the finissage of An den Rändern, we cordially invite you discuss some ideas of the exhibition.

An den Rändern is a cooperation between the Museum Morsbroich and the Kunstverein Leverkusen, curated by Miriam Edmunds and Maxie Fischer. Three presentations at both venues deal with personal narratives, the transience of political systems, the interpenetration of nature and culture and the need to capture all of this as an image. The balancing of chance and history, seeing the foreign in the familiar and the relationship between the world and the image are recurring moments and invite visitors to a movement that leads from the margins to their individual experience.
