Undine Rietz, curator
Undine Rietz (born 1989 in Potsdam) is an art historian, curator and author. She studied art history at the University of Leipzig. Her research focuses on cultural-political and activist issues. German-German history, debates on classism and feminism, but also environmental protection, sustainability and digitalization should be highlighted here. Most recently, she worked as curator at the Kunstverein Bielefeld. Previously, she worked for the German Pavilion in Venice, Art Basel, Spinnerei Leipzig and University of Leipzig, among others. In Bielefeld, Undine Rietz curated the first institutional solo exhibition of US artist Analisa Teachworth in Germany and worked with artists such as Tolia Astakhishvili, Angélique Aubrit & Ludovic Beillard, Lenn Blaschke, Ronny Bulik, Anaïs Goupy, Diane Haefner, Lewis Hammond, Sebastian Jung, Jonas Monka, Mary-Audrey Ramirez, Ronny Szillo, Christian Theiss and Chloe Wise.
