Roger Rohrbach, Curator

Roger Rohrbach (b. in Wanne-Eickel) studied art history and German language and literature in Bochum, Düsseldorf and Graz. He was a research assistant at the Kunstmuseum Gelsenkirchen. As a curator, he has realised exhibitions at Kunsthaus Oberhausen, Kunstverein Hattingen, Museum Ludwig Koblenz, the Bochum Biennale and the Neuer Kunstverein Mittelrhein, among others. In 2022 he received the curatorial scholarship of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, in 2023 the research scholarship of the city of Gelsenkirchen and the curatorial promotion award of the city of Cologne. Currently working freelance on curatorial projects and publications. Roger Rohrbach lives and works in the Metropole Ruhr.
