Kristina Grigorjeva, curator
Kristina Grigorjeva (b. 1990 in Tallinn) is a curator and researcher based between Geneva and Zurich. Originally trained as an architect, her research, informed by ecofeminist perspectives, focuses on the socio-cultural and political significance of contemporary art practices and investigates the entanglements of natural and built environment through process-oriented and research-driven projects. Recent research includes an ongoing study and exhibition series SOMA addressing the material-affective capacity and transformative potential of sound and listening practices. Currently serving as co-director at the contemporary art center KRONE KRONE COURONNE in Biel/Bienne, she was previously the head curator at the BINZ39 Foundation in Zurich. She has collaborated on exhibition projects with the Museum für Gestaltung Zurich, the British Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, the Harun Farocki Institut, the Beyeler Foundation, the Felix Gonzalez-Torres Foundation, the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia, Architekturforum Zurich, and Caruso St John Architects.
