Florentine R. Muhry, Curator

Florentine R. Muhry (born 1989, Graz, AT) works as a freelance curator. She stud-ied history and art history in Graz, Vienna and Paris. From 2022, she will start her PhD in the framework of the DFG-Graduate school Aesthetic Practice at the Uni-versity of Hildesheim, with a thesis on autodidactic and decolonial critique in the conceptual art of Rasheed Araeen. Previously, she was assistant curator at the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen. As a curatorial assistant, she worked at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg in the department of photography and new media and at the Halle für Kunst Lüneburg. Since 2018, she has been running the art space muhry.com.
